Abstract
Relates to Eurothane GP Underfloor Insulation, a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam board with a multilayer foil facing on both sides, used as thermal insulation in ground-bearing or suspended concrete ground floors, or between the joists of suspended timber ground floors, for new and existing domestic and non-domestic buildings. Key factors assessed were mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, durability.
