Abstract
Relates to OmniFit(2) Slab 35, layers of resin bonded, unfaced glass mineral wool (MW) rolls, used in insulation between the studs on timber- and steel-frame conventional walls in new and existing domestic and non-domestic buildings with a masonry outer leaf or a ventilated rainscreen cladding system. Key factors assessed were mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, and durability.
