Abstract
Changes introduced to building regulations in Scotland in 2020 (in force from 1 March 2021) related to the addition of three categories of buildings, and three types of conversions for Standard 2.15 Automatic fire suppression systems. This study looks at the cost implications and decisions for limitations. Covers fire statistics analysis, relaxation applications, analysis of benefits and costs and presents the results.
