Provides a toolkit for local authorities to encourage sustainable transport options in rural areas, covering: challenges and opportunities facing rural communities when decarbonising transport; examples of successful rural travel initiatives; opportunities for electric vehicles (EVs) in rural areas; and reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions as a result of tourism.
