Discusses the management, operation, maintenance and routine testing of existing healthcare ventilation systems. Areas covered include functional responsibilities, minimum standards for ventilation systems, annual inspection and verification requirements and inspection and maintenance. Includes appendices.

History

SHTM 03-01 (2022) supersedes all previous versions of SHTM 03-01 (Part B, HFS, 2011), SHTM 2025 (1994) and DV4 (1983). Interim version – additional guidance related to COVID-19 will be added in an update in 2022. Dated February 2022. SHTM 03-01 is made up of two parts, Part A and Part B.
