Abstract

Provides requirements for inspection and assessment of new and replacement road lighting on motorways and all-purpose trunk roads. Covers inspections for luminaires, lighting columns, night-time lighting operations, safety, feeder pillars, and looks at records and schedules. Appendices cover category of defect response times and category of lighting column defect severity.
