Abstract

Details the technical requirements for pavement investigations on UK motorways and all-purpose trunk roads. Covers visual condition surveys (VCS), deflectograph, falling weight deflectometer, ground penetrating radar (GPR), and invasive testing. Network level surveys are described in CS 230.
