Soil Guideline Values
Abstract
The main purpose of the CLR series is to provide regulators, developers, landowners and other interested parties with relevant, appropriate, authoritative and scientifically based information and advice on the assessment of risks arising from the presence of soil contamination. Presents Soil Guideline Values for arsenic and its inorganic compounds, giving generic assessment criteria to assessing the potential harm to human health from chronic exposure. The exposure assessment looks at occurrence in soil and behaviour in the soil environment, This report must be used in conjunction with an understanding of the main report in this series (CLR 7, 8, 9, 10).
