Abstract

Provides recommendations for design and construction of earth retaining structures in accordance with Eurocode 7. Covers all types of earth retaining structures, with specific guidance offered for gravity walls, semi-gravity walls, embedded walls and cofferdams, basements and strutted excavations.

History

Supersedes BS 8002:1994. First published April 1994. Second (present) edition, June 2015. Came into effect 30 June 2015. BS 8002 gives non-contradictory, complementary information for use with BS EN 1997 and its UK National Annexes.
