Abstract
Concerns Alreflex Platinum. This is a single-layer polyethylene bubble sheet faced with aluminium foil on one side and attached to a rigid expanded polystyrene insulation board. This product is to be used as thermal insulation. If installed with overlap, it can also serve as a rain barrier in masonry cavity walls in new domestic and non-domestic buildings with a nominal residual cavity of 50 mm and without height restriction. Assesses thermal performance, water resistance, condensation, behaviour in relation to fire and durability.
