Abstract

Introduces the Transport and Health resource, which was jointly commissioned by the Department of Health (DH) and Department for Transport (DfT) to support the development and delivery of health conscious Local Transport Plans throughout England. Intended to aid in the initial development of transport plans, support and inform their assessment through the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) process and help deliver Local Transport Plan (LTP) strategic objectives.
