Abstract
Sets out the strategic need and justification of Government policy for the provision of hazardous waste infrastructure and will be used to guide decisions made by the Planning Inspectorate. Also provides a framework for the Secretary of State, as well as guidance throughout for potential developers and in particular advises on what should be included in their assessment of the potential impacts of a particular project.
