Comprises the impact assessment of the DFT's consultation on the reform of the application process governing the stopping up and diversion of highways under Sections 247 and 248 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Consultation closed on 24 August 2012. Related to the following: Government response: interim report considering implementation of option 1. Stopping up and diversion orders: reform of the application process for local highways (DFT, 2012); Government response - stopping up and diversion orders: reform of the application process for local highways; and Stopping up orders under the part x of the Town and country planning act 1990 (both DFT, 2013).
