Abstract
Discusses the experiences and benefits of using pull-out tests to determine concrete slab strengths at early ages. These were part of innovative construction methods explored in the construction of the mixed-use, phased project at St George Wharf.

The Concrete Centre is the central development organisation for the UK concrete sector and provides material, design and construction guidance. Their aim is to enable all those involved in the design, use and performance of concrete to realise the potential of the material.
