Abstract

Following the 2007 update to the Construction (design and management) regulations, information contained in SD 10/05 and SD 11/05 is now covered by HSE L144 Approved code of practice "Managing health and safety in construction". This IAN alerts the immediate withdrawal of SD 10 and SD 11.

History

Wales only IANs are issued by the Welsh Government. They contain specific guidance, to be used only in connection with works on the motorway and trunk road network in Wales. IANs must be read in conjunction with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW). SD 10/05 and SD 11/05 are now withdrawn. Applicable to Wales only.
