Comprises set of section action plans which look to existing sources of information and research to identify the key impacts of climate change on each sector and appropriate actions which can build resilience to these impacts. Action plans cover: agriculture, biodiversity and ecosystem resilience, the built environment, business and industry, emergency and rescue services, energy, forests and forestry, health and wellbeing, marine and fisheries, spatial planning and land use, transport and finally, water.
Supersedes Scotland's climate change adaptation framework sector summaries (Scottish Government, 2009). Relates to the following: Adapting to the changing climate - consultation on the environmental impacts of adaptation: post-adoption strategic environmental assessment statement 2011 (Scottish Government, 2012) and Scotland's climate change adaptation framework (Scottish Government, 2009).
