Abstract

These guidelines are intended to assist those responsible for above ground oil storage tanks at sites other than oil refineries and distribution depots.

History

The 2006 update has been added to reflect the requirements of SSI 2006/133 Water environment (oil storage) (Scotland) regulations 2006. Supersedes Pollution Prevention Guidelines 2: Above ground oil storage tanks (EA, 2004). Superseded by the April 2010 edition which was withdrawn in December 2015.
