Abstract

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) services is a Department of Transport (DfT) initiative to promote information gathering, processing, communication and delivery technologies to provide an integrated transport logistics service. Considers how technology can aid the provision of services by local authorities and the integration of local authority and voluntary services.

History

Assist is a DfT initiative aiming to encourage and promote the use of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) as tools to implement local transport policy objectives.
