Abstract

A Working Group was set up to study the issues of temporary road markings including ease of use, removal and durability. Taking into consideration surface material developments and the implications of the EU standard for marking materials, the findings of the Working Group are detailed in this report.

Temporary Road Markings Working Group comprise representatives from the Highways Agency (HA), the Traffic Management Contractors Association (TMCA), TRL Ltd, the Road Safety Markings Association (RSMA), the Reflective Equipment Manufacturers Association (REMA) and the Department for Transport (DFT). This document is published by TRL Ltd on behalf of the Working Group.
