Abstract

The Department of the Environment's Social Research Division commissioned the University of Aberdeen to develop a classification of rural areas in England which would reflect the heterogeneity of rural housing market circumstances. This report describes work undertaken, which resulted in the derivation of a classification of rural housing market circumstances of all wards of rural England.
