Abstract
Provides advice on the changes made to the permitted development rights for electricity undertakings by the coming into force of the Town and Country Planning (General Development) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1991; the procedures for obtaining the views of planning authorities in cases where consent of the Secretary of State is sought to construct, extend or operate an electricity generating station, or to install or keep installed an electric line above ground; the procedures for assessing the effects of such developments on the environment as required by Part 3 of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Regulations 1988.
