Abstract
Introduces two new series of policy guidance notes on land-use planning and development control. Planning Policy Guidance notes (PPG) provide guidance on general and specific aspects of planning policy, while the series of Minerals Planning Guidance notes (MPG) deal with the control of mineral development.
