CIRIA/BFRC Flat Roofing Design and Good Practice
Abstract
Deals with the design of flat roofs, where flat roof means, continuously-supported flat roofs up to 10° pitch. The guidance provided is for roofs in UK climatic conditions.
History
The 24 parts of the Flat roofing design and good practice guide published by CIRIA and BFRC in 1993 have now been recompiled into a complete pdf. This document is part of a larger document, Flat roofing: design and good practice, which has been split into parts for ease of use. CIRIA B15 was written in 1993 and has not been modified since. While many of the principles are likely to remain relevant, the position with regard to regulations, specifications and advances in processes and technologies are likely to have changed.
