Swanwick Centre, the new air traffic control centre in Southampton for the Civil Aviation Authority balances high-tech operations with staff needs for a calm working environment. The operations room has a specially developed vaulted ceiling. Building services were designed to have a maximum downtime of five minutes per year. Working details of reception desk.
