Professional Estates Letter
Advises HSC organisations of the transfer of this guidance document to the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (Northern Ireland) website. It also outlines specific Northern Ireland policy amendments that apply to the guidance.
PEL (12) 14 dated 10 July 2012 which covered the issue of the above guidance is now superseded by this letter. Professional Estates Letters (PELSs) contain Departmental policy in relation to design, construction, procurement, programme and project management, estate and facilities management, contractual matters, buildings, equipment, medical and electrical plant and medical device safety. They are designed to be used with relevant Department of Health (England) documents.
