Abstract
Gives guidance on how to inspect and assess the condition of timber frame dwellings built in the public sector between 1920 and 1975. It also identifies those parts of timber frame dwellings which require particular attention during an inspection: special emphasis is given to areas of the building where the timber might be vulnerable to wetting and decay.
