Abstract
Outlines a method of testing the performance of repair materials used on reinforced concrete in marine conditions. The design, manufacture and use of a reinforced concrete test specimen developed by BRE are described. The test will be of interest to engineers with responsibility for carrying out materials evaluation, and also to specifiers and engineers seeking tests of performance criteria against which to judge the range of concrete repair materials which are currently marketed.
