Architects' Journal Building Study
Abstract
This article explores Reed Watts Architects’ transformation of Snow Hill Court, a Grade II-listed former school in London, into a 14-bed rough sleeper assessment centre. Through a sensitive low-carbon retrofit, the project combines privacy-focused sleeping pods, communal spaces, and heritage conservation to create a dignified, supportive environment for vulnerable individuals in one of the UK’s most challenging urban contexts. Includes Architect’s view, Project manager’s view, Project data, Client’s view, Sustainability data, and Working detail. Architect: Reed Watts Architects.
