Specifies the procedure for the classification of the fire resistance performance of construction products and building elements used as components of building service installations. Provides some fire scenarios and then looks at characteristics, declarations. Includes the classification report and additional fire damper classifications if declared. Applies to fire resisting ventilation ducts and fire dampers, but excludes smoke control systems. Also applies to unprotected electric cables with intrinsic fire resistance and fire protective systems for cable systems and associated components.
