Abstract

Describes the UK established method of structural design of buried pipes under various conditions of loading. Explaining procedures and provides loading tables for situations where general assumptions can be made. Covers concepts used for structural design, classification and calculations of loads, rigid, flexible and semi-rigid pipe design, and looks at other design considerations.

BS 9295:2020+A1:2025 supersedes BS 9295:2020, which superseded BS 9295:2010. Came into effect 29 February 2020. Complementary to BS EN 1295-1:2019 and PD CEN/TR 1295-2:2005. Amendment January 2025 - A1. See Foreword for details.
