Conventions to improve the quality and accuracy of energy performance certificates (EPC); covering general arrangements, dimensions, openings, ventilation, U-values and thermal bridging, space heating, DHW heating, renewables, summer overheating and miscellaneous issues.
History
Version 8.2, March 2021. SAP 2012 was until recently used for building regulation compliance in new dwellings in England and Wales (Part L) from 31 July 2014. But SAP 10.2 has been adopted in these administrations for all new assessments. SAP 2012 still applies for the 2015 accredited details document in Scotland (Section 6) from 1 October 2015.
