History

BM TRADA timber publications are no longer maintained following the closure of BM TRADA's publishing operation on 31 December 2024. December 2020 edition, with minor corrections. Supersedes the March 2020 edition, with minor corrections. First published 1991; revised 2007, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020 (twice).

BM TRADA originates during the 1930s when a forerunner of what later became the Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA) was set up to promote the use of wood in construction.
