Abstract

Contains amendments to Part M, which cover access to and use of buildings with regard to Changing Places Toilets.

History

Partially supersedes Access to and use of buildings (2004 edition incorporating 2010 amendments) (For use in Wales) (Welsh Government, 2010). Came into effect 3 January 2023. Main changes made by the 2023 amendments: the guidance in paragraphs 5.6 and 5.7 has been amended to mandate for the provision of Changing Places Toilets within appropriately sized, publicly accessible buildings. Clarification is also provided on how the capacities should be derived in these buildings.
