Abstract
The evidence gathered has helped informed government on what changes could be made to deliver accessible new homes. Proposals include the mandating of the current M4(2) (Category 2: Accessible and adaptable dwellings) requirement in Building Regulations as a minimum standard for all new homes. There will be some exceptions which will be detailed in due course with a change to building regulations.
