Looks at impressed current cathodic protection systems, widely used to provide corrosion control on reinforced concrete structures suffering from corrosion. It is also increasingly applied to early 20th century steel framed masonry and brick clad buildings and monuments. Describes the different types and variations and looks at installation and suitability, life and costs, impacts, performance and extent of use.
