Abstract
Provides an update on progress made with support from the Building Regulations Advisory Committee for defining and establishing the guiding principles of the golden thread policy. It also looks at how the golden thread will be adopted by the construction industry and the changes needed for implementation.

They were previously known as the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, MHCLG, Department for Communities and Local Government, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Department for Transport and Local Government.
