Abstract

Provides best practice for undertaking thermal upgrades to roofs, specifically room in roof insulation (RIRI). Looks at: viability of insulations and systems in potential scenarios, benefits and unintended consequences of installing RIRI, Building Regulations, building suitability assessment and risks, materials, design principles, installation, mid- and post-installation checks, health and safety, training and vocational competence.
