Abstract
Introduces a refreshed approach by the Government towards building safety, calling on industry for help. The reset aims to: remove the costs for leaseholders living in their own flats paying for the removal of dangerous cladding, setting a timetable for industry to agree to a plan of action and establishing new measures making firms accountable in the market.

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) was a UK Government department with responsibility for communities throughout the UK, with local investment supporting growth, creating jobs, delivering housing, overseeing local government, planning and building safety.
