Abstract
Sets out to establish guidance to ensure consistent and appropriate design for cycling infrastructure in Scotland. Looks at planning for cyclists; geometric design; traffic volume and speed; allocating carriageway space; off-carriageway facilities; junctions and crossings; cycling parking; public transport integration; construction and maintenance; and cycling audit system. Appendices look at legal issues and include signs and markings.
