Abstract

Details a 3 storey school for 420 pupils with a 26 place nursery. The infant and nursery classes are on the ground floor. Toilets are positioned directly off the classrooms. Schools can choose to have 55 or 62 metre-squared classrooms, with an incorporated or separate practical space. Entrance areas have been designed to minimise congestion at peak times. Lighting and ventilation have been designed to use natural where possible. Services and security has also been considered.
