Abstract
Directive to promote the improvement of the energy performance of buildings within the European Community, taking into account outdoor climatic and local conditions, as well as indoor climate requirements and cost-effectiveness.
History
Will be repealed on 30th May 2026, and replaced by Directive (EU) 2024/1275 of the European Parliament and of the council of 24 April 2024 on the energy performance of buildings (recast) (Text with EEA relevance) Latest consolidated version: 01/01/2021. Amended by Directive (EU) 2018/844, Regulation (EU) 2018/1999. Repeals Directive 2002/91/EC. Source: Office for Official Publications of the European Communities.
