Abstract
Announces amendments for the 2019 edition of Approved Document B (Fire safety) - volume 1: Dwellings and volume 2: Buildings other than dwellings, due to come into effect on 26 November 2020. The amendment relates to a change of focus for residential blocks of flats and mixed-use buildings containing flats, covering sprinklers, wayfinding signage for the fire service, extensions and boundaries.
