Abstract
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) make up a substantial portion of the UK’s construction industry and are often used as subcontractors on larger projects. Unfortunately, despite a variety of efforts, there is still a huge problem with main contractors providing their subcontracting SMEs with their portion of a contract’s monies in full and on time.
