Concerned with fire safety when designing new healthcare premises, major new extensions to existing premises and refurbishment. Aimed at those involved in the management, design, procurement and use of healthcare facilities to assist in the understanding of requirements of fire safety.

This guidance is based on HTM 05-02 'Firecode - guidance in support of functional provisions (fire safety in the design of healthcare premises)' published by the Department of Health.
