In this 3rd edition section 7 has been withdrawn and superseded by TR19 'Specification for: fire risk management of grease accumulation within kitchen extraction systems - grease' (BESA, 2019), a new stand-alone specification for fire risk management of grease accumulation within kitchen extraction systems. It was established in 1904 as the National Association of Master Heating and Domestic Engineers and has been through a few name changes since, including: Heating and Ventilating Contractors' Association (HVCA) and from 2012 it was the known as the Building and Engineering Services Association (BES).
