Abstract

A review of the fire safety order to ensure the evidence base is up-to-date and fit for purpose in relation to non-domestic premises in England. This call for evidence is aimed at those who are regulated by it: responsible persons, workplaces, fire safety professionals, enforcing authorities and the relevant persons whose safety it is concerned with. The 4 annexes include: a glossary of terms; a legal annex FSO provisions; a list of government guidance and key research data about rates of fire in different types of building, fire-related fatalities or casualties from different types of buildings.
