Abstract

Provides guidance relating to equipment, product, operational and process properties required for avoiding ignition and electrostatic shock hazards resulting from static electricity. Can be used for risk assessment of electrostatic hazards or for the preparation of product family or dedicated product standards for electrical or non-electrical machines or equipment.
