Abstract
Sets out the requirements for air flow testing, commissioning and provision of information for fixed ventilation systems in both new and existing dwellings. The inspection checklist captures information relating to particulars of the system, installation address and installer details as well as recording the results of visual inspections and results of air flow tests on both intermittent and continuous mechanical ventilation systems.
History
Archived 13/02/2019. Updates: Domestic ventilation compliance guide (includes amendment slip issued October 2010) (DCLG, 2010). This compliance guide was introduced to help support Approved Document F 2010. Guidance presented in Appendices D and E of the 2006 edition of Approved Document F have now been added to Section 2 of this guide. With minor corrections.
