Establishes the concepts and principles for the management and production of information throughout the life cycle of built assets using building information modelling (BIM). Aimed at providing and improving business outcomes for: asset owner/operator, clients, supply chain and project funding. Gives recommendations for information management covering organizing information, asset information, project information, exchanging information, versioning, asset information model and project information model.
