Abstract
Comprises a letter to Chief Planning Officers in Wales, introducing the Town and Country Planning (Notification) (Coal and Petroleum) (Wales) Direction 2018 which requires that planning applications for the development of petroleum or coal as set out in legislation must be referred to Welsh Ministers, where a planning authority does not propose to refuse the application.
